Trauma-informed, body-aware and deeply relational
You do not need to arrive with clarity.
You do not need to have the right words.
What matters is that something in you is ready to be met differently.
Healing is not a linear process. It does not follow a fixed structure or arrive on a predictable timeline.
What it does require is safety. Consistency. A space where the nervous system can gradually settle enough to allow something deeper to emerge.
This is the foundation of how I work.
A trauma-informed approach begins with a simple but essential principle: safety comes before depth.
Many of the patterns we carry in adult life were formed in response to experiences that once felt overwhelming. The nervous system learned to adapt, to protect and to manage.
These adaptations were intelligent and necessary. Over time, however, they can begin to feel limiting.
In our work together, there is no pressure to move quickly or to access anything before it feels right.
Experiences are not forced into the open.
Instead, we create the conditions where reflection, awareness and insight can emerge in their own time.
Pacing, consent and attunement remain central throughout.
This work includes the body, but not in a way that is intrusive or overwhelming.
Somatic awareness simply means gently noticing what is happening within you as you speak.
This may include breath, sensation, tension, or subtle shifts in how you feel from moment to moment.
The body often holds patterns that the mind alone cannot fully access.
By bringing awareness to these experiences, we begin to understand how your system responds, protects and relates.
Nothing is imposed. Nothing is required.
We follow what feels manageable, allowing your nervous system to guide the pace.
At the heart of this work is the relationship we build together.
This is not a space where you are analysed or interpreted from a distance. It is a space where you are met.
Consistency, presence and careful listening create the conditions for something different to unfold.
Over time, this can support a deeper sense of trust. Not only in the therapeutic relationship, but within yourself.
Alongside counselling, I also offer reflective astrology as an additional way of exploring the self.
This is not predictive work. It is not about telling you what will happen.
Instead, your birth chart is approached as a symbolic map that can bring insight to patterns, sensitivities and life themes.
For some, this offers another way of understanding their inner world with greater clarity and compassion.
Astrology sessions are optional and can be explored separately from counselling.
The space we create is steady, unhurried and thoughtful.
There is room to pause. To notice. To take things at your own pace.
You are not expected to have everything figured out.
Often, what people are looking for is not more pressure or direction, but a space where they can begin to hear themselves more clearly.
This is a space you can gradually exhale into.
Thank you for your interest in an astrology consultation.
This short form gathers the information needed to prepare your natal chart and offers an opportunity to share what you would like the session to explore.
My approach to astrology is reflective rather than predictive, using the chart as a tool for insight, self-understanding and meaningful reflection.
